For Olmsted Now: Greater Boston’s Olmsted Bicentennial, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy is expanding its annual free event series Summer on the Emerald Necklace into Parks as Platform, a shared resource for cross-neighborhood collaboration and community-generated public events from April through October 2022. Hidden Gems: Revival of the Muddy River within the Emerald Necklace

On April 1, 2021, Conservancy President Karen Mauney-Brodek joined Park Watershed for an educational virtual event about the history of the Muddy River in the Emerald Necklace, as well as the efforts of the Olmsted 200 movement as summarized by guest Barbara A.
