Emerald Lights at Charlesgate Park return November 30!
In conjunction with the annual tree lighting of the Commonwealth Avenue Mall on November 30, the Conservancy is excited to once again bring light to Charlesgate Park by illuminating ten trees in emerald green!
For the third year, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Charlesgate Alliance are partnering to bring our signature emerald green lighting to ten Japanese zelkova trees (Zelkova serrata) at Charlesgate Park, shining a spotlight on the ongoing revitalization of this critical intersection of two iconic Boston greenspaces, the Emerald Necklace and the Commonwealth Avenue Mall.
The Charlesgate Lights are made possible with generous support from Charlesgate Alliance.
The green-lit trees are located at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. and Charlesgate East.
