Internship Opportunity

Public Policy Intern
The Public Policy Intern will work closely with conservancy President Julie Crockford to assist with environmental policy advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Draft comments to legislators
  • Write action-alerts to constituents
  • Interface with public partners and committees
  • Schedule meetings
  • Summarize proposals
  • Provide administrative support to Conservancy President

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in environmental policy and execution
  • Familiarity with social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter

Hours

  • 8-16 hours per week minimum. May include work from home

Compensation

  • Unpaid
