The Boston Park Advocates are hosting a half day advocacy workshop. Gather with fellow open space advocates from across the city to hone your effectiveness as a community leader, share information, and generate specific ideas for park improvements that can be funded by the newly passed Community Preservation Act (CPA).

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services invite the public to the second community meeting for Phase V of the On-going Improvements to Pathways at Franklin Park. The proposed project includes renovations to selected pathways including the drive and path between the Shattuck Hospital, Franklin Park yard and the golf course parking lot. Pathways surrounding Scarboro Pond will also be included in the renovation.
