What is Emerald Necklace YogaFest?
Emerald Necklace YogaFest is an outdoor, daylong fundraising event featuring yoga classes, demonstrations, food trucks, pop-up shops and vendors, raffles and more. Proceeds from the event support free programming in the Emerald Necklace parks.

What time should I arrive?
Check-in and Registration opens at 9:00am.

Where is Emerald Necklace YogaFest being held?
Due to a forecast of rain, YogaFest will take place at Tansey Gym, Nelson Recreation Center, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston 02115.

Is Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) accessible by Public Transportation?
Yes, WIT is close to stops on the MBTA Green Line “E” train (MFA stop) and Orange Line (Ruggles stop) and bus routes. Take the #39 bus to the MFA, or the #8, #47, or #CT2 buses to the Ruggles.

Is there parking in the area?
There is limited on site parking for registered ticket holders. There are pay parking lots on Museum Road, adjacent to the MFA.

What happens if it rains?
Emerald Necklace YogaFest will be held indoors at Tansey Gym, Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Is yoga experience required to participate in Emerald Necklace YogaFest?
No experience is necessary to enjoy the activities. Emerald Necklace YogaFest welcomes all—from first timers to advanced yogis—as well as anyone interested in fitness, community and fun in the parks!

How do I purchase a ticket?
Purchase tickets online here. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the event, though we recommend purchasing your ticket in advance to guarantee your place.

Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, dogs are not allowed on Clemente Field and cannot be accommodated at YogaFest.

What should I bring to Emerald Necklace YogaFest?
We recommend you bring a refillable water bottle, yoga mat, sunscreen and hat, and wear weather-appropriate clothes.

Will there be lockers available to store my stuff?
No, there are no storage facilities. We suggest keeping belongings to a minimum.

What can’t I bring?
Glass containers and coolers, as well as pets, are not allowed at YogaFest.

Is there a refund policy?
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you cannot attend the event and would like to pass your ticket along to someone else, please notify us as soon as possible at 617-522-2700 so that we can update your registration.
