DESCRIPTION:Michael Leidig\, a classical pianist and Emerald Necklace Conservancy Docent\, discusses the life and major professional accomplishments of the “Father of Landscape Architecture” with a particular focus on his prized Boston gem: The Emerald Necklace. In addition\, Michael will perform classical music that Olmsted would likely have heard during his time in Boston in the late 1800’s including 3 rarely known and performed Boston-based composers G.D.
