Valerie Edwards

MY name is Valerie Edwards, but I like to be called Val. I am 21 years old and I was born right here in Boston, Mass. I work for Youth Build Boston and the Emerald Necklace Conservancy. At Youth Build Boston I learn about and how to do landscaping, carpentry, and a lot of other stuff. Here at The Emerald Necklace I am learning about more landscaping and working on bettering my skills and being a team leader. I enjoy what I do, I find it very interesting. I never thought I would like working outside so much but its actually fun and keeps me busy instead of being out doing nothing or something I am not supposed to in the streets. I want the best for my self in life so I’m trying to stay focused while doing good things and helping the community is a great thing so I am all in it!! During my free time when I am not working I like to go out and hang with my friends and family and jus have a good time, most fun I have when I am not working is when I am shopping. I love fashion, clothes and sneakers for the most part.
