Pinebank is located on the north-east corner of Jamaica Pond. You can approach from the intersection of the Jamaicaway and Perkins (Walk into the park on the paved walk between the "bowls" -- not down to the pond), or from the intersection of Chestnut and Perkins Streets (Ascend the granite steps and follow the walk).
Driving: We urge people NOT to drive. There is no parking along the parkways and parking space along Perkins Street is very limited. (However, there is additional parking on side streets off of the Jamaicaway if necessary). Vehicles with handicap access can be parked up at the performance site.
By T: (1 mile walk from the Heath St. stop on the Green E line) Continue on South Huntington Avenue walking towards Jamaica Plain, take a right on Bynner Street and cross the Jamaicaway. Turn left and continue on the paved path that runs along the parkway. At the intersection of Perkins St. and the Jamaicaway enter Jamaica Pond park. Take the next walkway on the right (between the "bowls") to Pinebank.
By Bus: Take the #39 bus to S.Huntington and Perkins Street. Walk a quarter mile down Perkins St. to cross the Jamaicaway. Walk into the park on the paved walk between the "bowls" -- not down to the pond.
