Movies in the Park

In an effort to bring families into the park, the Conservancy once again hosted two movie nights at Jamaica Pond this past summer. With the help of some of our wonderful volunteers, there were children's activities before the movies and Jamaica Pond once again came alive with flashy blinkies and the sound of laughter. Our Green Team was again on board to help with concessions and the Conservancy's information stand as well as playing childrens' games and selling glow stick necklaces. A special thanks to intern Maddie Kiefer for taking the lead on this program and we hope to see you at the pond for Movies in the Park next summer!

Movie nights are free thanks to donations to the Emerald Necklace Conservancy from individuals and friends including Franklin Park Zoo/Zoo New England, Friends of Jamaica Pond and Jamaica Pond Association.
