Some upcoming events:
Tuesdays with Roses Tuesday, June 3, 5:30-7:30 pm and every Tuesday
Beginning June 3 and each Tuesday throughout the summer.
The program gives volunteers a chance to learn rose care from
gardeners and rosarians while keeping the roses beautiful.
Volunteers will dead-head and prune roses and weed the rose beds.
Sounds and Scenes Festival Saturday, June 7, 10:00 am-1:00 pm
Come out for a free family festival featuring concerts and
a variety of participatory activities geared primarily to young children.
All of the activities will directly or indirectly involve music,

Olmsted Park’s Woodlands Volunteer Events Saturday June 7
This Conservancy will host volunteer events the first Saturday of each month, with
a rain date of the second Saturday. The exception is July –we will gather on the 12th.
Tasks will include: pulling garlic mustard, uprooting bittersweet to save trees,
spreading limestone and minerals, path maintenance, picking up litter,
uprooting buckthorn, and planting appropriate, native and Olmsted-selected
