Igor Kharitonenkov

As web and media developer at the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Igor spends his time at the intersection of the organization’s staff, online content, and technology. He relies on his organizational skills and frequent communication with co-workers to ensure online content is accurate and up to date and frequently brainstorms ideas on how to improve the website. In addition to day to day maintenance, Igor has overseen the integration of social media efforts such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube into the Conservancy's website and online personality.

As the first Project Developer for "The Stories Project," Igor managed all aspects of a video project that yielded six short video documentaries of Stories from the Emerald Necklace. He built a foundation for the annual summer project and enhanced the Conservancy's outreach efforts by creating a novel tool with which to promote the Emerald Necklace park system.

Concurrently with his work at the Conservancy, Igor is an aspiring writer and media producer and uses his blog, IGORoamandreport.wordpress.com, as a venue for his creativity and expression. He enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and living and promoting an environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle.
