Celebrate the restored Muddy River!

Thank you for celebrating with us the completion of Phase 1 of the Muddy River Restoration Project on April 21 as the Army Corps of Engineers and public partners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Upper Fens Pond, Back Bay Fens near the intersection of Avenue Louis Pasteur and The Fenway.

The restoration project came about, in large part, as a result of the Conservancy’s early and ongoing advocacy efforts on behalf of the river’s renewal. As we celebrate the debut of the new Justine Mee Liff Park and a restored river we look forward to working with stakeholders and partners and continuing our advocacy for  full bank-to-bank restoration.
