A cleanup, in conjunction with the 11th Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup to beautify the banks of the Muddy River. The Muddy River, which flows through the Back Bay Fens, is a tributary of the greater Charles River. Our cleanup will focus specifically on the section of the Muddy River from Brookline Avenue (the Landmark Center) to Mother’s Rest at Boylston Street. Our goal will be to pick up litter and downed limbs from the winter, in an effort to improve the overall cleanliness of the Muddy River’s banks and vicinity for the spring, summer, and future seasons.
